Wed, 10/02/2010 - 16:54 — tinouDu peu que j'ai pu lire sur le Web, Symbian n'a pas la réputation d'être un OS très codeur-friendly. La bonne nouvelle, c'est qu'à l'avenir ça pourrait changer. Nokia, qui l'avait acheté récemment, le rend open-source et vient de mettre à disposition un site web communautaire et un système de gestion de code. Le tout semble être construit autour de Mercurial et de MediaWiki, et comporte une certaine base documentaire. Si j'en crois cet article, c'est un bon début. Le reste repose sur la communication et l'animation de la communauté (ce qui n'est quand même pas la moindre des tâches).

Wed, 10/02/2010 - 14:41 — tinouAs far as I have been able to read on the Web, Symbian has no reputation of a developper-friendly operating system. The good news is that it might change in the future. Nokia, who has recently bought it, is making it opensource, and has just opened the repository and the community website. It seems to use Mercurial, MediaWiki, and provide documentation, and that would be a good start to build a community of developers, according to this. The rest is all about communication and community management (not the least, though).
